Mildred Reminds You - The End is Nigh (YE23 that is)
Friends of Confluence West -
Mildred reminds you that THE END IS NIGH - aka, it’s almost the end of the year, and if you haven’t already made your contribution, now is the time!
Also, for your donation to Carpe Diem West (dba Confluence West), Mildred the Sheep will tell you a joke (actually, a very short story - with a happy ending.)
For the past 15 years, we’ve been helping protect critical watersheds and rivers and building sustainable, resilient, and equitable western water policy. Some days, the work is no joke and, at times, downright depressing.
That’s why we have a policy of hugging our humor – for those in the know, that’s HOH! And HOH brought us Mildred the Sheep.
We’d love to tell you about all our successes – and not-so-great successes – this year, but we’re pretty sure your inbox is already overflowing. If you’d like to know about our work, please look at our website (especially the What’s New section) or send us your questions.
Here’s the opening line of Mildred’s joke: Why did Mildred, the US Forest Chief, and the western water manager start a rock band? To get the punch line, please donate (tax-deductible, of course.)
With great thanks and best wishes to you and yours for a HOH! HOH! HOH! holiday season.
For the West,
Kimery
