Three Drop - Let’s Play Bingo!
Colorado River Basin Bingo
Mark a square each time you hear one of these during a meeting, hearing, or policy discussion.
Friends of Confluence West -
Maybe…not…next week… next month…o.m.g. how much of a reduction??
While we’re waiting for various shoes to drop, it’s time to play Colorado River Bingo!
Once you’ve heard or read all the verbiage on your bingo card, send it to us, and we’ll feature it in our next Three Drop e-blast for the general public adulation (we’re still working on the dark chocolate prizes).
If you haven’t heard or read all of the above, I’d recommend (if you’re not already) the annual Getches Wilkinson conference:
The Colorado River: Searching for Solutions in the Face of Uncertainty, next week in Boulder. (Note: IN-PERSON registration ends TOMORROW, Thursday 😬.)
When you get a chance, please gather more items for another CRB Bingo card - we’ll publish it in the next few months (with attributions and kudos unless you prefer to stay anonymous).
Speaking of kudos, our thanks to Rod Smith at Stratwater.com for his help in putting this bingo card together!
For the West,
Kimery

PS - If you didn’t see last month’s e-blast, Talking Money – Wildfire, Water & Forest Health: Flagstaff’s $12M for Restoration – and the not-so-secret sauce. The question for municipal leaders and water agencies is no longer whether watershed protection makes financial sense. Flagstaff, Denver Water, Santa Rosa, Santa Barbara, Eugene Water, and so many others can easily answer that question.
If you want to know how Flagstaff’s “not-so-secret-sauce” approach could work for your utility or municipality, we can help. Please get in touch!

Many excellent NGOs, water utilities, tribes, Nations, communities, and public agencies are working to protect rivers and forests in the American West from the (sometimes overwhelming) challenges posed by climate change. We are proud to partner with many of them.
Why support and work with Confluence West? Since 2007, we've learned that long-term, equitable solutions require dedicated and talented people from every sector, issue area, perspective, expertise, and culture to bring their part of the elephant, their truth, to the table.
We build and lead projects that connect diverse decision-makers who, in turn, create science- and evidence-based campaigns. Check out our work! Or, email Kimery.
Please support Confluence West (aka Carpe Diem West!) Since our founding in 2007, we've been building successful alliances and campaigns and bringing new climate science and opportunities to put innovative, sustainable regional water projects into motion in the American West.
You can read about our current projects and the ones we're developing. Thanks for your support!
